Increased Human Safety: Having inspections and repairs completed by a qualified technician on a regular basis will most definitely provide a safer environment for your employees and give them confidence in your equipment so they can focus on their task.

It is a Requirement: OSHA 1910.179  and ANSI B30 both require a “Frequent”(monthly) and “Periodic”(annual) Inspection on your crane and hoist equipment. Depending on the type of crane, other industry standards may also be relevant such as NEC, CMAA, etc.

Liability: Inspections and repairs performed by a qualified technician will reduce your exposure to accidents and equipment failure. If an accident does occur an investigator or insurance rep will look for documentation required by OSHA showing that your equipment is inspected and repaired by a qualified technician at the required intervals.

Yes, we can evaluate the wiring and reattach the pendant or replace with a new one from parts on our truck if necessary.

Our hourly rate for both inspections and repairs is $140/hr.

Travel time is charged at our hourly rate from our shop to your site and back to our shop and depends on traffic delays.

If you provide a scissor lift of course there is no charge, but if we provide the scissor lift there is a flat $300 charge.

If you plan around your production schedule for regular inspection and adjustment your equipment will stay in top shape and give you early warning when a part needs to be replaced. Inspections ensure your cranes are safe to operate, brakes are adjusted, bearings are lubricated and your cranes will work through your production schedule safely and avoid unexpected breakdowns. Cranes and hoists are designed with an expected service life based on frequency of use and require inspection and adjustment based on that frequency of use. There are two types of inspections defined and required by OSHA: “Frequent” and “Periodic”. Frequent inspections are done at daily to monthly intervals, while Periodic inspections are completed at monthly to annual intervals. Your production schedule and frequency of use compared to the designed duty cycle of the crane helps determine the inspection interval.
